The 2025 Paving Plan is published on the PaveDC website at the start of the construction season. The website also includes separate tabs for sidewalks scheduled for repair and the Alley Restoration Plan for the Fiscal Year 2025.
Please note: Work may be adjusted depending on weather and other conditions, and additional projects may be added to this list. DDOT contacts residents and businesses within the work zones before work begins. Unless otherwise noted, work is not conducted on weekends.
Citywide Pavement Restoration Projects
DDOT is committed to improving and restoring local roadways through pavement restoration. Residents should expect paving activities at the following locations over the next two weeks, weather permitting:

- 7th Street NW between S Street NW and T Street NW
- 7th Street NW between T Street NW and Georgia Avenue NW
- Florida Avenue NW between 7th Street NW and 9th Street NW
Ward 2
- 7th Street NW between S Street NW and T Street NW
Ward 5
- New York Avenue NE between Bladensburg Road NE and Maryland Line
- Rhode Island Avenue NE between 13th Street NE and 14th Street NE
- South Dakota Avenue NE between Taylor Street NE and Quincy Street NE
Citywide Sidewalk Restoration Projects
As part of DDOT's commitment to improving and restoring local sidewalks, construction activities will occur at the following locations throughout the next two weeks.

- 11th Street NW between S Street NW and Vermont Avenue NW
- 15th Street NW between Caroline Street NW and U Street NW
- 9th Street NW between French Street NW and S Street NW
- Kalorama Road NW between Connecticut Avenue NW and Thornton Place NW

- 20th Street NW between Constitution Avenue NW and C Street NW
- 21st Street NW between Constitution Avenue NW and C Street NW
- 21st Street NW between Q Street NW and Hillyer Place NW
- Massachusetts Avenue NW between 17th Street NW and 18th Street NW
- Q Street NW between 21st Street NW and Massachusetts Avenue NW
Ward 3
- 36th Street NW between Ordway Street NW and Porter Street NW
- 41st Street NW between 41st Place NW and Livingston Street NW

Citywide Alley Restoration Projects
DDOT is improving alleys across the city. Once work begins, access to sections of the alley under construction will be temporarily closed, and parking will be restricted. In case of emergencies, access may be permitted by notifying DDOT. Work is estimated to take about two weeks, weather permitting.

Citywide Guardrails and Impact Attenuators Upgrade and Repair
DDOT will conduct preventive maintenance and repair of guardrails and impact attenuators at the following locations over the next two weeks.
Ward 3
- Klingle Road WB at west of Porter Street NW
Ward 6
- 14th Street NB at ramp and EB Maine Avenue SW
- SW Freeway EB at ramp to U S Capitol SW
Ward 8
- I-295 NB in median between underpass South Capitol Street and Malcolm X Avenue SE left side of Road
- I-295 SB in median before Exit 2A to Malcolm X Avenue SE left side of Road
Citywide Highway Structure Repair Projects
As part of DDOT's commitment to improving and restoring Highway Structures, preventive maintenance for bridges and other highway-related structures will occur at the following locations throughout the next two weeks.
